Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated RN | Registered Nurse - Unit Manager for a 9-week contract at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehab. This leadership role involves overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Unit Manager

Location: Jersey Shore, PA

Certifications

AHA BLS

RN License in the state of Pennsylvania or compact license

Travel Pay

Gross Weekly: $2746

Taxable Weekly: $1500

Non-Taxable Weekly: $1246

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing staff and daily unit operations

Coordinate patient care plans and treatment implementation

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols

Provide direct patient care as needed

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff

Train and mentor new nursing staff

Requirements

Active RN license

1+ years of nursing experience (Unit Manager or leadership experience preferred)

Ability to work day shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM) for 40 hours per week

Strong leadership and organizational skills
